Job Opening | UX/UI Designer (m/f/d)
We are growing our design team and are looking for a UX/UI Designer with a strong sense for great UI, clear structure and visual detail. You create coherent user experiences and bring your perspective into product development with ownership and confidence. If you value good design, clean execution and collaborative teamwork, you will feel right at home with us.
Your profile
- Experience & Expertise: You hold a degree in Communication Design, UX/UI, or a comparable field, and you have at least three years of professional experience in UX/UI design. Your portfolio demonstrates strong visual skills and a refined sense for UI, typography, color, layout, and visual consistency. You bring a clear focus on UX/UI and product design, set high standards for your work, and have the ability to analyze complex applications and translate them into clear UX/UI solutions.
- Location: You are based in Augsburg or able to work from our Augsburg office 1–2 times per week to support our design team on site.
- Working Hours: This role requires a minimum of 32 hours per week so that collaboration and personal development have enough space.
- Teamwork & Communication: You enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams, communicate reliably, and can confidently explain your design decisions internally and to clients. Empathy, openness, and a willingness to give and receive feedback are important to you — and you value real collaboration over “just executing tasks.”
- Technical Skills: You are proficient in Figma. You understand how the modern web works: modular UI components, clear information architecture, accessibility, and performance are part of your natural toolkit.
- Diversity: You’re excited to bring your own strengths and new perspectives into the team.
- Languages: You speak German and English fluently.
Your Responsibilities
- You derive requirements, ask the right questions, and use workshops to build a clear understanding of user needs and personas.
- You create structure and clarity through sitemaps, user flows, and early wireframes.
- With a strong eye for aesthetics and detail, you design high-quality, responsive UI interfaces and build precise, consistent design systems.
- From the first idea to final testing, you collaborate closely with designers, developers, and product owners, actively bringing in your UX/UI perspective throughout the process.
Your benefits
- No more waterfall and project juggling. Peerigon projects are agile with sprint plannings, weeklies, retros, and everything that goes with it. From the first idea to the testing of the prototypes, everything happens in close teamwork and at eye level with developers, stakeholders, and product owners.
- Truly flexible working time model instead of trust-based working time (where employees actually often work more than they should). No overtime falls under the carpet. You use them up whenever.
- Challenging projects (and gladly those that create meaning).
- Good and fair salaries and transparent contracts without gender pay gap.
- We walk the talk where many only talk about New Work. Good team culture is a top priority at Peerigon. Look forward to a dynamic work environment where you can contribute at any time and your ideas are valued.
- Start out in our Augsburg headquarters and work later on: from home, in Hamburg, Amsterdam, or Canada.
- Choose Your Own Device: Use your Macbook for business as well as for pleasure.
- You’ll begin your role primarily on-site at our Augsburg office. Once we’ve established a good rhythm together, you’ll work flexibly, remotely or on-site, with the option for workation by arrangement.
- We value a lived work-life integration for the interest and family-friendly arrangement of your working hours. In addition 30+2 vacation days, full parental leave, and openness for sabbaticals.
- Weekly move & mind budget on work time.
- Our work environment always brings something new: we offer you a generous annual training budget for conferences, workshops, meetups, and tech talks at home and abroad, as well as regular internal team training.
- JobRad: bike leasing with discounted conditions including insurance.
- If you like, share your knowledge at conferences, meetups, in blog articles and workshops.
- Actively shape your work environment and Peerigon as a company - we live participation.
- Beyond your project, use e.g. strategy days, birthday outings, hut excursions and social matching to network with your colleagues. You are welcome here.
