As a Staff Engineer (m/f/d), you play a key role in shaping our technical direction and the continued growth of Peerigon as a company. You bring deep expertise across the stack – from frontend to backend – and combine technical excellence with strong humane leadership and strategic thinking. You act as a multiplier: enabling others, sharing knowledge, and driving innovation.
Your profile
- You bring a broad technical foundation and many years of experience in software development & technical project management.
- Our core technologies HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, and React are your home turf.
- You have deep expertise in tech topics like accessibility (a11y), SEO, UX, server scaling, and agile processes.
- You have already had budget and personnel responsibility and experience leading development discussions within your team.
- You take ownership of key accounts, maintain long-term client relationships, and make sure projects are delivered successfully.
- You are active in the code community and love sharing your knowledge with Peeris – through talks, workshops, or mentoring.
- You are motivated to drive Peerigon forward: improving processes, introducing ideas, and actively shaping your environment.
- You communicate clearly, openly, and confidently – both with colleagues and clients.
- You speak fluent english and german, and enjoy working in an open, diverse, and purpose-driven environment.
- You care that the company you work for takes social responsibilityseriously and operates sustainably.
Your area of expertise
- Take ownership of technically and strategically challenging projects – from architecture design to successful delivery, including agile software development in a team with daily stand-ups, weeklies, sprint reviews ...
- Support and mentor your team members through regular feedback and coaching sessions, fostering both professional and personal growth.
- Represent Peerigon externally: as a conference speaker, workshop host, or technical consultant.
- Lead initiatives to improve our development processes, tooling, and internal knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to customer acquisition and long-term partnership building through your technical and interpersonal expertise.
- Help shape company-wide goals and ensure they’re effectively implemented across projects and teams.
- Act as a thought leader: identifying opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and sustainability within Peerigon’s projects.
