The first step toward a sustainably accessible platform
We audit websites, portals, and web applications against WCAG 2.2 AA and EN 301 549. The result is a prioritized action plan your team can use to fix barriers effectively and meet the requirements of the BFSG, the German accessibility act.
Do any of these questions sound familiar?
We know we need to do something. But where do we start?
An accessibility audit shows where your platform stands today and which measures make the biggest difference.
Who’s actually responsible: development, UX, or content?
Accessibility rarely concerns just one team. We help structure the work sensibly across WCAG, design, and editorial.
Which tools actually help us?
We know the strengths and limits of common accessibility tools from hands-on experience. So we recommend tools and workflows that fit your development and QA processes.
How do we make sure we stay accessible in the long run?
A one-off audit isn’t enough. So we show you ways to embed accessibility sustainably in design, development, content processes, and quality assurance.
Accessibility is becoming more visible
The German Accessibility Reinforcement Act (BFSG) has been in force since 28 June 2025. Since 2025 there is also a nationwide point of contact around the BFSG, the market surveillance authority of the German federal states (MLBF), where consumers, too, can report barriers.
The topic is gaining attention, among users and the wider public alike. An audit helps you get a clear picture early on of where your platform stands today.
We don’t just audit pages, we look at the system behind them
Many barriers don’t come from individual mistakes but from systems and processes that have grown over time. So we look beyond the page itself, at your CMS, design systems, component libraries, content processes, and quality assurance. We look at where a platform’s quality is decided in the long run.
- Audited against WCAG 2.2 AA and EN 301 549
- Page types and flows instead of individual URLs
- Focused on realistic, sustainable implementation

The fastest route to a solid action plan
From a no-obligation call to implementation. Every step can be booked individually.
Free initial call
30 minutes. We clarify whether and how the BFSG affects you, and define the scope of the check together.
Accessibility check
A comprehensive audit of your key page types and user flows against WCAG 2.2 AA and EN 301 549. We combine automated analysis, manual testing, and assistive technology to identify barriers reliably.
Implementation & enablement
We support your team in implementing the measures and help embed accessibility permanently in development, design, and content processes.
The fixed price includes up to 3 key page types along with their user flows and recurring components, plus the results presentation. Additional scope is calculated transparently on a time-and-materials basis. We define the exact scope together in the free initial call.
Not just a tool scan
Automated checks are an important part, but they catch only some of the possible barriers. Our audit uses three testing methods that complement each other.
Automated
axe, Lighthouse, and WAVE check contrast, alt text, ARIA basics, and HTML structure.
Manual
We work through key user flows ourselves, checking keyboard operability, focus order, zoom, reflow, and typical states such as forms and overlays.
With assistive technology
Screen reader testing with NVDA and VoiceOver on the critical user flows.
From audit straight into your backlog
Every finding with its location, the WCAG criterion it violates, a priority (legal risk × user impact), and effort, so you can move it straight into your backlog.
- One-page management summary: status, risk, rough effort
- Conformance assessment against WCAG 2.2 AA / EN 301 549
- Action plan as a prioritized to-do list
- Results presentation: an approx. one-hour session with room for your questions
- A recommendation for the next steps
We show you how barriers disappear for good
Implementation, not a checklist
Concrete, prioritized recommendations with technical context instead of a plain list of errors.
A holistic view
Where a barrier stems from your CMS, design system, or content process, we name the root cause, so fixes address the source, not just the single page.
Experience with complex platforms
We know software landscapes that have grown over time and build solutions that integrate with existing systems.
Sustainable anchoring
The audit is the starting point. If needed, we also support you with implementation, reviews, and embedding accessibility sustainably.
